I Cant See

There have been many nights when traveling home the fog has been so thick I could barely see the road in front of me. I had to drive very slow praying I would make it home safely. It didn’t seem to matter if I used my fog lights or brights, either way it didn’t bring much help. I just had to go slow which meant it took twice as long to get home. When I did finally make it, I was completely amazed because most of the time I could barely see my house.

Psalms 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Psalms 94:17 “Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.”

At those “Foggy” times in life we can feel alone and think, “Will this ever end, will I make it?” The answer is YES! God promises to be our strength and guide. We may not like what is going on around us, but HE IS THERE WITH US, and He will never leave us alone. Soon the “Fog” will lift and we’ll be safely where we were meant to be – and in one “Piece."

Weekly Take Away:

What road are you on? Is it hard to see no matter what you do? We all travel a road at times when we are not able to see much ahead of us and that alone makes the journey harder.

God however is always there, and in front of us. We can trust He will lead us safely to where we need to go- because after all He is in control.....right?
